Arrowhead Pride is reporting that Kansas City’s 810 Sports has announced that Trent Green will hold a 1:30 CST press conference today. Hopefully, this deal between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins finally gets done. As someone who has covered it from both angles for months now, this deal should have been done a long time ago. Better late than never, I guess, if it really does happen. I’m from the Show-Me State, so I’ll have to see this actually happen before I believe the rumors.
I just want this deal to get done so we can see which one of these egomaniac GMs won — “King” Carl Peterson or Randy Mueller.
UPDATE (4:15 PM): No trade, folks. Trent just held a public bitch-out session with the local media. Maybe he and his agent think this could expedite a trade. This is just getting ridiculous. Can’t we please just get this done so both teams, along with us lowly bloggers, can move on?
