by Breaking News

photo credit - APThe Miami Dolphins have announced a 4pm eastern time press conference to announce newly acquired QB Trent Green to the media and fans.

According to reports, Green has passed his physical and the trade officially will be announced within the next half hour.

Due to all the recent influx of news regarding Daunte Culpepper and Trent Green, please take a moment to scroll the front page and view the latest information on these subjects.

In addition, this blog entry will be updated with information from the Trent Green press conference, and the transcripts will be provided to you as soon as they become available.

PC UPDATEGreen is officially a Miami DolphinCam Cameron introduced the soon to be 37 year old at 4pm talking about Green and his family, oh lord, and avoiding questions about Daunte Culpepper.

Cameron said that he and Randy “had something in the works” regarding Daunte Culpepper, but followed that by saying he would know more by Friday, the start of the next mini-camp.

Green was obviously thrilled with the news and answered questions for quite awhile.  He mentioned the role of mentoring and what he brings to the Dolphins in those terms, a friend of mine who was able to hear the ending stated that Green mentioned “not holding Becks hand”.  He said that Green spoke in terms of Beck following his lead in film breakdown, preparation, and not once to ever not ask a question.

The full details of the press conference will be available as soon as the PC is transcribed, and phinphanatic.com will have it for you.

thanks for the information.  It will be something that I will watch this season.  Good post, thanks.

I have heard all this before, wait till he blames the receiver for not continuing his route, even though the receiver was wide open...lol, seriously.....he blames everyone but himself, or else he will blame all players (the whole team). He wont change the reads on a play he always goes in order(sequense) , which allows for him to miss open receivers.
