It took a little longer than I was told, but the Dolphins have announced that Brian Soi is now a Dolphin. He was signed on Monday the 23rd.
It’s a rumor. And not much of one at this point either. Still, there is a ripple making its way around the information super highway that the Miami Dolphins may have signed former Utah St. DT, Brian Soi.
Should this news turn out to be fact, it’s hardly earth shattering. However, during this time of lean information, any information can be fun, and even interesting. Even an undrafted supplemental draft player.
Soi had applied for the supplemental draft that took place today. He went undrafted. Originally signed to play for BYU, his academics failed to land him on the team or the school.
If in fact Brian Soi has signed a contract with Miami, he would be yet another rookie brought in who hails from Hawaii.
According to part of the rumor, an announcement may come tomorrow or Saturday.

Who ever wrote this, should get their facts right! Brian Soi did not attend the University of Utah, he attended Utah St.
It was a typo. I was thinking Utah St when I was typing Utah DT. It has been since fixed to read Utah St. Dt. Thanks for the heads up.
