This is just a reminder, and to some it may simply smack you into reality, as it just did me. This coming Saturday, as in 4 days from now, is the NFL Hall of Fame induction ceremonies. Sunday, which is 5 days from now, is the first pre-season game. A week later, a full slate of games on tap as week 1 of the pre-season gets under way. That is only a mere 10 days from now…if your a Miami Dolphins fan. Miami plays Jacksonville on August 11th.
O.k. 11 days from now. The first game of that week is a Thursay night match-up between Indy and Dallas as well as a game between Cincy and Detroit.
The season seems to be coming up a lot faster this year than in years past. Hold-outs are still prevalent from some of this years draft crop, the Dolphins who reported as one of the earliest teams to camp is still only in day 4.
The season moves faster now that it has become a year long event. Don’t close your eyes for too long, or you will realize that this weekends game will be here tomorrow. Yes, it seems to be going that quick.
