Sorry Lemon fans but Trent Green gets the nod after all. He will start on Thursday, not Lemon for the Miami Dolphins.
Armando Salguero needs to call his source and say “what’s up?” The information that he posted earlier today in regards to Cleo Lemon starting Thursday over Trent Green is now being reported by Cam Cameron to be completely wrong. Cameron said after practice that the same rotation will be used as on Saturday and that only the time schedule of each QB may change.
This in direct contrast to what was said earlier when Salguero, whom I quoted as well, said that Lemon would play the entire first half.
Cameron said in regards to the rumor, “That one I could deny. That will not happen.”
I was not thrilled with the idea of Lemon starting considering the issues that the first unit needs to work out. I found the thought completely counterproductive. Now, it appears my thoughts and the thoughts of many were not that far from Camerons’. Green should be starting, he is the starting QB on this team, and he needs the game practice. It appears that will be the case come Thursday night.
