Thursday night, under the lights, live on ESPN, the Miami Dolphins, Trent Green, you would think we were in Kansas.
Nope, we are in Kansas City…that is in Missouri.
Trent Greens’ return trip to the city of KC where he has spent the last 6 years will likely take the field to more applause than he received in his first outing with the Dolphins on Saturday, with of course a nice mixture of splattered boos’ as well.
The focus of this game will be on improvement of the Oline from last week. The game will likely be planned out this time around as last week it was a fly by type of plan…meaning they had none.
Green is returning home after a long trade process that went through free agency and through the draft. I don’t think that he and Carl Peterson will be meeting on the 50 for a photo op. I do think that there will be a warm embrace between he and Priest Holmes. Holmes is returning after sitting out last year with an injury. This will likely be his last.
Enjoy this game as it will be the only “live” televised Fins pre-season game this year.
