UPDATE: PFT is reporting that Kendall has been sent to the Washington Redskins for a 4th round pick. To rich for my blood. With Trent Green sitting on a conditional 4/5, Miami would not have likely traded that high for him even if the Jets wanted to dump him in the division.
Soon to be officially and ex-Jet, Pete Kendall appears to have finally received his wish to play elsewhere. The New York Daily news is reporting that the Jets have found a trade partner out of multiple suitors. Supposedly Kendall will be traded for a future undisclosed draft pick…could the Miami Dolphins have pulled something off?
Terms of trade were still be worked on at midnight last night and an announcement is expected sometime this morning…according to the NYDN.
There has been a lot of speculation that Kendall wants to come to Miami, however, it is unlikely that the Jets would trade him to an inter division rival, even at this stage of TC.
For all of us fans who have been waiting and waiting for Kendall to become a Miami Dolphin, it is likely not going to happen via trade. Still, there is hope as the mystery team has yet to be revealed.
