32 poised for chopping block

It is that time of year.  The cut downs.  By tomorrows end the Miami Dolphins will have to throw 10 players onto the chopping block.  By this time next week, the 53 man roster will be set.  In a matter of 7 days, the Dolphins will have to cut 32 players from the current 85.

Some will inevitably be surprises, others will come and go as quietly as they arrived.  Behind no fan fare and little mention.

Of the 11 draft picks that the Dolphins had in April, only 1 may not make the final roster.  Kelvin Smith who has been struggling this pre-season.

As the young players get to experience the good-byes it will be hard to watch their friends leave, the guys that they fought with on the field, but make no mistake, they are damn happy that their name is not on that list.

Miami will practice today and the coaches will begin preparation for the final pre-season game, but for now, their late night sessions are focused on who is going to be here at the end of the week and who is not.

It is not a fun time for anyone…especially the ones who here…”Coach wants to see you…bring your playbook.”

Sorry Sam.

I have a severe case of Sun Poisoning and am unable to concentrate long enough right now to do the research nescessary to make an educated prediction.  Hopefully this will clear up shortly and I can get back to focusing on my blogs.

What kind of article is this?  Where is your 10 + 22 picks?
