3rd quarter: Ouch!
The 3rd quarter started off with what looked like a fired up Washington team, Washington received the kick-off and after stalling on the first two downs after a first down pick up, Campbell hit Randal-El on a long ball for the 2nd time in the game over top of Travis Daniels. A few plays later and Clinton Portis rambled in for a game leading Touchdown of 19 yards. The Skins were leading the Miami Dolphins 10-7. Ouch! After ending the first half with a TD, the Dolphins let an opportunity to keep the loud stadium under wraps.
On the ensuing kick-off, Ted Ginn returned the ball to the 50 yard line, but the drive ended with another Fields punt.
The Phins defense made a quick stop of the Skins next drive. Nothing special, but solid performance after giving up a TD the series before.
Miami took their next series to the goal line again, but the drive stopped at the 2 yard line, this time Cameron opted for a chip shot field goal, Feely tied the game up with 3.37 left in the quarter.
The 3rd period ends with the Skins driving once again as they close it out with the ball on the Dolphins 30.
On the first play of the 4th quarter, Miami intercepted Jason Campbell in the endzone.
