Quarter 1: sloppy

by Breaking News

The first quarter of the 2007 season is in the books.  The Miami Dolphins have started much the way they finished last year.  Sloppy.

Brandon Fields, the Phins punter, was by far the best player on the offense.

The 1st quarter was high-lighted by two big plays, the first a nice interception by Phins safety Renaldo Hill and the second a long pass reception by Randal-El over Travis Daniels.

The Redskins ended the 1st quarter deep into Miami territory when the clock ran out.

For the most part, the Dolphins defense is starting off looking exactly as good as they did last year, however, they really need to mix up their schemes to put more pressure on Jason Campbell.  The Skins are picking up good yardage on first down in the run game, and the Phins have still been able to close them down.

It is in the 2nd quarter and the Skins are on the board with 3 points.
