O.k., so Cam Cameron hasn’t said it yet, but will he? Will he sit at the Miami Dolphins podium, in front of the logo flag hanging on the wall, and utter the words, “I’m not taking the Michigan Job”?
As every Miami fan remembers the same phrase uttered with Alabama by Nick Saban, it appears that now, Cam Cameron is the rumored guy to replace Lloyd Carr after the season. Could it actually happen again? Here is the article as it appears on DetNews.com.
Dolphins coach Cam Cameron has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Michigan coach Lloyd Carr .
But Cameron has a job.
But, don’t be so sure he will keep it. Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga said he will look at the situation at the midpoint of the season and at the end.
The Dolphins (0-6) face the unbeaten Patriots on Sunday.
“Obviously, I know a lot of fans are disappointed,” Huizenga said. “But we just have to hang in there for now and keep working. I’m not happy and you’re not happy with what has happened so far. Let’s see what happens the rest of the year.”
Cameron coached under Bo Schembechler at Michigan and has emerged as a rumored candidate in the past.
I am sure that there are many a fans that would love to think that this could be true. Lets face it, there are plenty of Cam haters out there. So I am sure that as this team progresses through what amounts to a still long season, this will rumor will be moved to the forefront of rumors…no matter how unfounded. Of course many of us thought the same thing when it first surfaced with Saban.

That will be the last straw. If Cam leaves, who will replace him ? Is this now to be the coaches graveyard ? Will any competant coach ever grace the Dolphins sideline ever again ? This franchise has become a national joke. Mr H. PLEASE sell the team.
We finally get a quality coach for our lousy team and now to think that he might leave stinks. if he leaves what quality coach would want to come in and take on the untalented players and the many low win seasons he would have here until he could possibly turn it around.At least if Cameron says he is not leaving he is not the low-life like Saban that would lie and sneak out in the middle of the night.
I like Cam and would like to see him see this thing through. But…should he for some reason take the Michigan job then I will stand for no coach other than Bill Cowher!

RBrown might be out for the season, Thomas got into a car accident. this is unbelievebla. Somebody has put a curse on us.
