ATW : Your Draft Strategy for ‘08
With last week’s ATW answered, I bring you the next question. Now, I know that it’s a bit too early to talk about the draft and a lot can still happen down the road but I have been doing just that the past two weeks.
Miami will be picking top-3 next April and we’ll also have the additional second rounder that came our in the Chris Chambers trade. Now here’s the thing. A team like Dallas who has Cleveland’s pick will maybe want to move up for a guy like Darren McFadden(Jerry Jones being an Arkansas guy) and with Miami picking 1st or 2nd, they could maybe want to work a deal with us to move up.
So, here’s my question. Do you want Miami to trade down and acquire a bunch of picks (because they have so many holes to fill), or do you want them to stay put and take one of those “studs” at the top?
And while we’re at it, I’m interested to know which college players you guys would like to see picked. Dorsey? McFadden? Chris Long? Jake Long? Michael Oher? Brohm, Woodson, Ryan?? (in case you think that Beck might not be the real deal)
