Sample Size Does Not Matter at All To Reuben Frank

He basically mentions all of the stuff that we have been talking about over here like the bad drafts, the bad trades and the other bad moves that were made in the Wannstedt/Spielman era but then he suddenly drops this little nugget….

The Dolphins used the ninth pick in this year’s draft on return specialist Ted Ginn, who they thought was the next Devin Hester. Not happening. Ginn ranks 17th in the NFL in kick return average and 20th in punt return average.

Another draft bust. Throw him on the heap.

Yeah, this guy decided that NINE games was a big enough sample size to determine if Ted Ginn will be a good player or not. He didn’t wait 3 seasons. He didn’t even wait 1. He formed this opinion after only nine games. A single digit amount of games….

I mean, I’m not saying that he will turn out to be a combination of Devin Hester and Steve Smith, but we all know that the encouraging signs are there. I don’t even have to mention those.

But hey, Reuben Frank has decided NINE games into Ted Ginn’s career that he’s bust and that he won’t amount to anything. Let’s tune in somewhere around week 15 so he can give us the definitive verdict on John Beck….

Reuben Frank also convieniently left out the fact that Ted Ginn had two returns for touchdowns called back on penalties.
