There was a spattering of news today out of the training center for the Miami Dolphins. Most of which centers around the running back spot.
In the on again off again Ricky Williams saga, Samkon Gado, who was released on Monday to make room for Williams, was re-signed this morning. To make room for Gado, Ricky was placed on IR. So Gado is back, and Ricky is gone.
According to some reports with fantasy football implications, Jesse Chatmans’ neck injury is fine, and according to Cam Cameron should be o.k. for the Jets game. However, if he should not be able to go, Gado is expected to start of Cobbs or Booker because of his experience in the NFL.
Vonnie Holliday missed practice today with another . I have not heard if it is the same ankle that he broke in the Oakland Raiders game that forced him to miss 4 weeks. Holliday is a big part of the defensive unit and his loss would hurt a defense that has improved in recent weeks since his return.
