St. Patty’s Day Comes Early
St. Patricks day has arrived in the form of a Personel guru that Bill Parcells has tabbed to be the next Miami Dolphins GM. Today, the Dolphins VP of Operations requested and was granted permission to speak with Dallas Cowboys Jeff Ireland. It is widely speculated that Ireland will accept the position and will become the new GM vacated today when Randy Mueller was fired.
Most feared a fight from owner Jerry Jones in an attempt to protect themselves from losing a very respected talent evaluator. That would not be the case as Jones made no attempt to do so. Ireland is expected to agree to join the Phins.
Another Cowboy, Oline and assistant HC Tony Sparano is also expected to be a target of Parcells as well if and when HC Cam Cameron is fired.
