2 Coaches Interviewed…Denied by Another
The Miami Dolphins are going through the right motions in their search for a head coach. They interviewed Sparano on Saturday and into Sunday last weekend, then met with Leslie Frazier on Monday and into Tuesday. Rex Ryan arrived Tuesday and was gone on the same day. If that was not enough…the Dolphins asked for and received permission to interview Todd Haley the Arizona Cardinal OC, got permission, the AZ offered a boat load of money, and then Haley said no thanks to Miami. 2 coaches interviewed….Denied by another.
Now the search is in a state of flux. The Dolphins will either make a decision or wait out Sparano. In either case, it appears the Dolphins are in very little hurry…which is good if Sparano is their target.
According to Armando Saluguero, Ryan was very upfront and honest with Parcells and said that “Bill has his hands full.” Yeah, and to think that comes from the Defensive coordinator of the only team Miami beat.
