O.k. So Here Is How Today Will Work

Rather than continually post news items every time a new rumor or something hits the wire, I will post in this location.  So here is how it will work.  Every time there is a new item on the wire regarding the Dolphins or something that effects the Miami Dolphins in some way, I will simply post an update on this blog.  The top item on this entry will be the latest news of the day.  I will keep it up all weekend so check back here often.  I will do a weekly breakdown on each of the signings and how they factor into the team rather than a bunch of single blogs for each one.  The first will be up on Monday following this weekend.

Charlie Anderson – Signed with the Phins, anderson is a LB from the Texans

Calvin Pace – Signed with the Phins

Justin Smith – DE Justin Smith of the Bengals is visiting Miami

Josh McCown – The phins found their veteran QB – Signed

Randy Starks – Phins sign the 5 year veteran from Tennessee. 

Ernest Wilford – Phins Sign the WR from Jacksonville

Patrick Cobbs – The Miami Dolphins have tendered the RB an exclusive contract worth 440,000 in salary this year. It is a one year deal.

Reggie Torbor – The Dolphins have signed free agent LB Reggie Torbor formerly of the NY Giants.

Jason Ferguson – TRADE - The Dolphins have traded for NT Jason Ferguson for a 6th round pick in 09 and a swap of 6th rounders this year.

Sean Ryan – The Dolphins have signed the free agent TE who was with the Jets last season. 

Justin Smiley – Agrees to 5 year 25 million dollar contract with the Dolphins
