Phins Make A Special Signing

Boomer Grigsby is his name, and well, that’s all I got.  Don’t know who he is?  No worries, outside of Kansas City, I doubt anyone does.  The Miami Dolphins however are now working on the special teams unit, signing the ST player.  Last year the special teams was literally a who’s who of short bus riders…no offense to the millions of kids who actually ride one, I would be embarrassed too. 

The new staff apparently know who he is and apparently they know that while in KC, Grigsby was a special, special teamer.  A converted LB, Grigsby is listed as a fullback, but his metal will be earned on the special teams.

Boomer was a huge part of this past years HBO special, "Hard Knocks with the KC Chiefs"  Great Move!

I don't think he will be a bust... I checked him out a little and he seems to embrace his role and has some pretty nice ST stats.  I think he will be reminiscent of Larry Izzo. Let's hope so anyway.

Sounds like we're shoring up what was, by anyones admission, a shocker of an ST unit. Seems to be a solid player and experienced in the ST field. Could be the kind of guy Theodore needs to break out a few more big returns.Of course he could also be a huge bust :-)

I like it.  I have read on other boards and people are bewildered... but I think it's another move that shows us that the new management wants to address every aspect of this team.
