Brian did you see PFT is reporting that Ogden told the Ravens to plan on him not coming back. If this is the case I see the Ravens passing a QB and taking Clady or possibly even Otah…man, I could honestly see three OT’s go in the top 10.

    Where is Johnathon Stewart???????????

  • Brian Miller

jorge:  Jonathan Stewart had toe surgery yesterday that will keep him out 4-6 months.  Most teams will likely shy away from him in round 1 because of the investment and the risk of him developing a possible turf toe injury…a RB killer.  He will likely fall out of round 1 which is why I don’t have him listed.

Think Stewart has made the right call though. Short term pain, long term gain.

Brian, I just visited your website for the first time. I think your analysis of the upcoming draft is one of the better ones I’ve seen. I’m a Jaguars fan and I’m intrigued about a possible trade for Jason Taylor. Do you have any more insight on this? Thanks!

From what I hear the Jags is one of the few places JT would go given the chance. That said: he’ll see out his contract in Miami if asked…

Nice work on updated mock draft Brian. I agree with quite a few of your picks. In particular the Jake Long pick, Last time I wrote in I was saying that I think Jake Long will be the Dolphins #1 selection. From what I’ve read since then it appears you have that same feeling. However, I slightly disagree with you on the Buc’s pic. I do belive they are going WR but I think it will be DeShaun Jackson. The last few WR’s they have drafted have been big boodies and their only real deep threat has grey hair(Galloway). They need speed WR.

Awww… bless… his Mommy helped him to spell Jets… I hope she’ll be able to explain the concept of cap figures to him too ;-)
