Miami Not In Week 1 Primetime Lineup

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced to the owners today the first games of the season.  Miami is not on the Prime time schedule for week 1.

Thursday night the Giants will play the Redskins in a game that will kickoff 90 minutes early due to the Republican National Convention.  Sunday night football will feature the Chicago Bears and Indy Colts in the Colts new diggs.

Monday night ESPN will again play the host station for a double header Monday night opener.  The early match-up will be the Green Bay Packers at the Small Pop (Minny soda) Vikings.  The kick off is at 7Pm.  The late game looks like a yawner with Denver visiting the Oakland Raiders.  That game starts at 10Pm Eastern.

Somehow I doubt the Phins will be a regular on Prime Time next season… Just a hunch! ;-) ROFL. That said I was going to look at NFL ticket for next season but a guy on my board posted a horror story about RealPlayer signing him up for loads of other options in the ’small print’ and ripping him off without noticing until after the season ended. DOH!Guess it’ll be Gameday again for me next season, esp. since Pontel lost their rights to sell full games on DVD last season :-(
