I sure hope you are right on this one. I’m a John Beck fan but most of all I’m a Miami Dolphins fan first and foremost. Let the best man win. I do think it’s a 2 man race though.Beck’s to lose but with Henne a close second (he’s Parcells guy). Josh in the wings if the other two fail.

Believe me, no one was more disappointed when we didn’t draft Quinn than I was. Not only am I a huge Dolphins fan, but I’m also a Notre Dame fan. So every time I see a replay of that draft day it makes me ill. And as you can guess the seasons both of those teams produced last year made me ill as well. But I do agree with Matt on this. What ever success we have this coming season will be largely dependent on how well we can run the ball and stop the run. Pretty basic football philosophy.

Hi, Matt I would like you to meet Reality, Reality meet Matt. A big play this year will be a first down on third and long. Phranchise is right, we aren’t looking to explode out of the gate like Big Brown or something…we are rebuilding and it takes a few years to make a lasting difference. That means we need high draft picks and a lot of them. The QB, WR and DB situation will fix itself in time. The key to winning is running the ball and stopping the run and we will be better at that this year simply because we have bigger personnel, let alone the coaching and management expertise we now have. Hang in there scooter there is a lot of football to be played yet.
