Cedric Benson: “It’s Miller Time”!
There was a lot of hype that surrounded the 2005 NFL draft. The Miami Dolphins had finally rid themselves of the “mustached mistake” as head coach, had the 2nd overall pick in the draft, and a new attitude. My how things fell apart. At least Ronnie Brown is still on the team.
While Cadillac Williams, the 5th overall pick in that draft fights to overcome a severe possibly career ending knee injury, fellow RB classmate Cedric Benson has found that everyday is now “Miller Time“.
Following two alchohol related citations in 2 weeks, the Chicago Bears have kicked the 4th overall pick out of Halas Hall. Ronnie Brown, although himself recovering from an injured knee, stands alone as the only 1st round RB from that draft class likley to make an impact this season.
