Ah, the 2009 NFL Madden game by EASports is just around the corner. While many have already put down the reserve money to hold a copy in your name, the folks over at EA are rolling out there player rankings. By division. The AFC East has been released and it is a poor showing for the Miami Dolphins.
Jason Taylor has yet to officially decide on whether he will be a part of the Dolphins training camp this year, and while he sits at home his Madden rank is a high scoring 98 out of 100. While JT garners the highest rating for a Dolphin, RB Ronnie Brown and his recovery from ACL injury rates in at a nice 92.
So why the poor showing? Simple, they are the only two Dolphins ranked above 90. While the Jets have 7 and the Cheatriots have 14…no word on whether EA incorporated a glitch on allowing Patriot team users to secretely view opposition play calls during on-line play.
In any event, the overall team ranking is in the high 60′s. I suppose we really can’t expect more from a team that finished 1-15. My suggestion…draft your own team or create a bunch of guys.
