As much of a fan I am "not" of the Jimmy Johnson era nothing can replace the pain of loosing the big game. Anytime you loose a Superbowl it sucks, just ask the New England Patriots. For all of the great draft picks Jimmy had on defense his picks on offense were equally as bad. I know there is a division that lies between Dolphin fans. One side that takes the side of Dan Marino and the other that takes the side of Jimmy during this era. The guys on Jimmy's side are usually Hurricane fans as well as Dolphin fans. A local sports radio guy here in Orlando Dan Cielio is a big Jimmy guy and very anti Marino. Of course he was on those national championship hurricane teams from the 80's and was coached by Jimmy. He always says Marino didn't allow Jimmy's game plan to develop and would audible out of run plays. Well guess what, when your running backs can't get 2 yards on 2 carries a hall of fame QB throwing the ball isn't a bad option. The running game failed under Jimmy b/c he drafted horribly on the offensive side of the ball. In particular at running back.
