Too Cheap Or Genuine?
There is no escaping the scrutiny that Jason Taylor will get now that he has departed Miami for Washington, DC. None. If he breaks a toe nail in practice, you can bet someone will know about it. During the presser yesterday at the Redskins training facility, Taylor talked about prying the number 99 from current holder Andre Carter. Taylor informed the group of media members that he would have a sit down with Carter later that day.
Today, Jason showed up for his first practice in 11 years not wearing the Aqua and Orange of the Miami Dolphins. Despite the burgundy and gold that made his appearence somewhat disheartening, Taylor donned a jersey with the number 55.
In a press conference for local TV after the practices had ended, JT was asked about his number to which he replied “after speaking to my wife, we decided to leave 99 in Miami”.
So the question I pose to you is simple. Was Jason Taylor too cheap to buy his 99 jersey from Carter? Or was Taylor genuinely leaving 99 to his Miami fans?
Oh, and don’t forget to vote for the “worst moment in Dolphins history” round 3 is here.
Too Cheap or Too sentimental
- Genuine - He wants fans to remember 99 only in Miami (69%, 42 Votes)
- Cheap - If the price was lower JT would be wearing 99 (31%, 19 Votes)
