The Miami Dolphins have a problem at the quarterback position, they also have money to spend. In about 3 days, if not sooner, a name will pop up on the free agent list that the Miami Dolphins should seriously take a look at. You heard it here first, remember that.
Jeff Garcia will likely be waived if Brett Favre is indeed traded to the Buccaneers, something that looks to be a done deal by todays end. Garcia is a long time veteran who is far away a better option at QB than anything Miami has on the roster now, or has worked out in the last week.
Garcia is by no means the type of QB that is going to lead this team out of the basement, but he is a leader who can come in and get this offense rolling while allowing the youngsters, including John Beck, to watch from the sidelines and develop more.
Garcia suffered an injury last week that has kept him out of practice, but he should be good to go soon as it was not serious.
The Miami Dolphins need a QB, there is nothing out there right now. Garcia might be soon. The Dolphins, should and I guess will, give this guy a serious look. The only real question is will he get his number 7 from Chad Henne?
I want to see a veteran QB here. A vet can work with these younger QB’s and help develop them. Hello Dolphins management-wake yourselves up. You pay these players millions. Let’s see those millions do something besides collecting a paycheck.
Bring in Kurt Warner or somebody that can help these kids.
