Agree with all written here. CamMueller screwed the pooch with Porter, though perhaps these injuries were unforseen (this will be the ONLY time you’ll ever hear me watch CamMuelluers back)
We must not trade Ronnie, at least not this year. If he excells, we either keep him as insurance for Ricky, or trade him next year when someones RB goes down, and we can get a 2nd rounder, or maybe even a 1st.
And to our esteemed Blog leader, thanks for the always interesting take. Sorry about the weather, but Fla. in July-Sept ain’t no picnic. I spent the first 21 years of my existence there.
Get a new computer! LOL

A few things.

Joe horn… no no no no no! NOT ANOTHER “we need him to be an influence on anyone.” you want to influence them with someone…how about Boldin!

If we still had jesse chatman on our squad i would see a trade with ronnie brown. we dont so the 1-2 punch is still nice nonetheless. if they want to trade brown.. allow for him to shine during the season. then get that high 2nd round pickfor him in the offseason.

Also watch the play of vernon carey his last year is this year so he better work it out if not we will have another lineman in the draft for next year.

i cant wait for the season to start. it cant get here fast enough!

As long as Ricky/Ronnie stay healthy, we will have a great duo…I knew our OLine was going to be strong, Sparano was a great hire to fix the lines…I love what I am hearing about Ferguson, looks to be a complete steal..

John Beck was a waste of a pick then and now we are going to lose him and gain nothing…shame, I really hate Cam & Co.

Upsets me to hear about Joey Porter, when we signed him, on paper, it looked like the trio of Taylor/Thomas/Porter was going to propel us to the top of the defensive charts…Two are gone, one is hurt and his contract is insane for what we have got out of him…

GLad to hear the Parcell drafting magic is still working…I was very mad when we drafted Langford because of all the talent still on the board, shows what I know…he seems to be a stud…and anytime you get a starter from a 6th rounder like D Thomas, you can’t criticize anything we have done from this last draft…
