Big O-Lineman Joins The Phins

AUTHOR: Brian Miller | IN: Dolphins | COMMENTS: 5 Comments |

The Miami Dolphins have signed a new offensive lineman that one of the local reporters say looks huge.  The name has not been released by the team and no name has been passed along by the media.

I will try and find out something…he is wearing number 78.

Unconfirmed reports are pointing to Pedro Sosa of Rutgers.

O.k. so far there are three reports that it is Sosa…one from a reader of our site…thanks for the tip.

Sosa was expected to be a second day draft pick but concerns over a knee injury left him undrafted.  Listed at 6-5 300 pounds, Sosa was a LT standout at Rutgers.  He fits the lineman requisite that Parcells and company tend to like.  Prior to this years draft, he was labeled more as an interior guard or center.  The Dolphins lack some much needed depth.

The one guy he is not however is LeCharles Bentley who is in St. Louis today taking a physical.
