Because I'm Not Quite Done Today

There are a few more announcements to make today before I wrap it up and relegate the blog to a simple “Breaking News” report until tomorrow because frankly, I’m not done with writing today.  There has been quite a few entries today so please scroll down the page.  If your looking for the Jim Kiick interview, it’s right here, if your looking for the Jim Kiick audio, that’s not up yet…still experiencing some site issues.

I would like to announce a new site that I will be writing for.  I will be the Miami DolphinsExaminer” and you can read my blog there…here.  This will be a 3 to 4 blog a week operation.  It will not take away anything from here at all.  The site offers me a slightly different approach to writing in more of a “newspaper” style.  But fear not friends…this is my home!

Speaking of other web sites I am writing for, keep your eye out for the upcoming announcement about the new FSB fantasy football site.  We should have new information on the launch date sometime in the next few weeks.  Tentatively titled Fantasy CPR, one of the features will be to use our site to act as the trade liaison for your league.  Have a trade dispute?  Need a commissioner not tied to your league to resolve issues?  We will keep you covered.

This Saturday, I urge all of you…and I do mean ALL OF YOU…to head over to the New York Times online edition, search for the “5th Down” and read my 100 word NY Jets Miami Dolphins preview.  It’s short and not too in depth, but it does talk a little about what this game means…at least as much as a 100 words can explain.

If all of that wasn’t enough…head over to Ballhype and see where the Miami Dolphins are pre-ranked for the upcoming season.  All 32 blogs for the FSB presented their rankings for each team.  Those were combined to form an average that placed each team according to their average 1-32.  The Miami Dolphins…are not ranked last.
