Jalen Parmale – Released

The Miami Dolphins continue to shuffle their roster even on the bye week.  6th round pick, Jalen Parmale out of Akron was released today along with recently signed TE Drew Atchinson.  The moves were made to sign TE Joey Haynos who was on the Green Bay practice squad.  He is 6′ 8″.  The Phins also signed Guard Matt McChesney to the practice squad.  McChesney played last with the NY Jets.

Sorry Deof:  I didn't see anything more on them other than college information which honestly I put little stock in when they are PS players.  I would have to assume the size and height of the TE is one reason.  6' 8" the guy is  monster tall.  I will try and find more on them.

So does anyone know anything more about the new additions than what was stated above, like what about them may have attracted the FO's attention?

I would think he clears waivers and then is signed to our PS.

Sparano likes any position that requires blocking.

And lets not forget the million TE's these guys love so much.

I think this shows that the front office is convinced they are set in the backfield with Rickey and Ronnie. That enables them to add depth at other posistions. Although, going with only 3 running backs on the active roster is a little strange. But then again so is not having a full back.

without jumping the gun, I think it's a good chance he clears.

What's the likelihood that Parmale clears waivers and gets signed to practice squad?

Wow, didn't see that one coming...
