The Miami Dolphins have released CB Michael Lehan from the injury list. Lehan was placed on IR back in the first month of the season when he couldn’t get healthy. Officially it was a hamstring injury. Lehan was injured in his first mini-camp with the Phins last off-season when he suffered a high ankle sprain.
Lehan spent most of the off-season rehabbing his ankle and with his conditioning not what is should be, pulled his hamstring. At the onset of the season, Lehan was the only Dolphins player listed on the injury report. He was placed on IR following week 5 after the hammy, which dogged him through training camp and pre-season got worse.
Lehan signed a 3 year 4.5 million dollar deal with a 900K 2009 roster bonus. His release from the IR list allows him to sign with another team.
