The Eagles will not pick up a tight end in the first round. They have Celek, a rookie last year, who had a pretty good year, especially in the playoffs. They will release LJ Smith and give Celek a starting shot. Look for them to pick up an OT and a safety in the first round. Or they could package their picks and move up for the best available pass rusher. They are weak at Left DE.

who says the saints arent re-siging Jvil, its a done deal , they cant sign vilma until FA.starts if they sign him before they lose there 1st.rd pick in 09 an mickey loomis isnt that dumb!! alot of talk in the big easy, says this agreement was done last year when they traded for Vilma , because there's noway they gave up all these picks for 1yr of Vilma service!!!!!!!!!so give the saints secondary help !!!it will be Vontae Davis or Moore THE SS if there at 14 an you have both being there, an everyone plz quit giving us a LB.

with the 14 pick the new orleans saints take Vontae Davis CB, Illinois.

Jack still has say in the Player Personel department, but ultimately Gene Smith has the final call. Smith has already said that the focus will be on big men this draft (OL and DL). WR is a non issue. With a line last year, it didn't matter who the Jags had at WR, the QB had time to throw it and the RB had holes to run through,
