UPDATE 10 (1:00):  The Rams will no play host to FA’s Bart Scott and Jason Brown.  So far there is no mention of the Dolphins being involved with Jason Brown.

UPDATE 9 (12:50) OG Joe Berger of the Dallas Cowboys will be visiting the Miami Dolphins on Friday and could become the first FA signing for the team.  Berger will compete for the RG spot if he is signed.

UPDATE 6 (12:36):  Jason Brown heading to Washington for his first visit.  Will it be his only visit?

UPDATE 5 (12:31):  Forget D. Hall going to the Patriots, the CB has signed a deal to stay with the Redskins.  6 years 54 million.  The Redskins have guaranteed the corner 22.5 million and 30 million over the first 3 years of the contract.

UPDATE 3 (12:20):  Coles is drawing interest from the Eagles.  Jeff Garcia is drawing interest from the Bills.  Ray Lewis turns down 3 year 24 million dollar 17 mill guaranteed deal with the Ravens (Manny Ramirez turned down a 2 year 45 mill deal with Dodgers…lol), Dominique Foxworth – DB – Atl drawing interest from Baltimore.  Bryant McFadden is wanted badly by Detroit.  Washington wants everyone:  Chris Canty, Haynesworth, and DeAngelo Hall…someones smoking.

UPDATE 2 (12:10):  Fred Taylor will likely join the Patriots by Saturday.  The offer to Bart Scott by the Ravens was for 7 mill a year…he isn’t accepting it yet.

UPDATE 1:  The NFL free agency period has begun.  Bart Scott has turned down the initial offer by the Ravens and has told them to hold the offer while he fields other offers.  Matt Birk has broke off talks with the Vikings and is now a free agent.  The Phins have been rumored to be interested in Marvin Harrison.

Tonight will be our special “Midnight” edition of our free agency coverage.  As free agent news comes in, I will post it.  I will try and keep up with all the free agent movements from around the NFL and not just the Miami Dolphins, although I don’t believe the Phins will make any major decisions tonight.  Simply refresh this page and look for the updates…they will be at the top of this blog.
