Well, we had our first controversy yesterday with the Cincinnati Bengals and the lack of an Andre’ Smith option. Still, I think the Bengals have had enough problems with character issues so I don’t think Smith will be taken by the Bengals come April…which of course means they will. Michael Crabtree was awarded to the Bengals as the 6th overall pick and today we move on to another tough to call team. The Oakland Raiders.
I am going to try and start putting some needs up as well so you have an idea of what the teams may be looking at and why.
OT: The Raiders really have no offensive tackle with Khalif Barnes being the only real talent, and that’s not saying a whole lot. To me Andre’ Smith is dropping fast, but the Raiders…well…they are the Raiders.
WR: Ashlie Lelie and Javon Walker are their outside guys. Enough said. (I put Bey on the poll list because of Al Davis’ love of speed)
DT: Last year the Raiders were one of the worst teams in stopping the run. Unless they draft a DT at some point come April, they stand to be one of the worst again.
