We pick up with our 3rd week of mock draft voting with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills filled one of their primary needs when they signed free agent WR and human cancer Terrell Owens. Owens should be able to behave for one year so this is not likley going to be an issue for the team…despite his decision to not report for voluntary workouts.
OL: The Bills need a tackle and the ongoing saga with tackle Jason Peters is giving the team fits. Even with Peters the Bills will likely try and address the Oline on day 1 or early day 2 if they don’t get the guy they want. At this point in the draft there are only 2 available and both come with some questions but none as glaring as Andre’ Smith.
DE/OLB: Perhaps the most glaring need for the team, the Bills need a pass rushing DE/OLB and with Everette Brown off the board the team may turn to Tyson Jackson or go for the DE/OLB hybrid.
FS: The Bills have Ko Simpson but he hasn’t done much. While the team will likely draft a competitor for Ko, they won’t likely do it in round 1.
