Who Will Not Make The Final Roster? Poll

So it’s the off-season.  The long lonely stretch of off-season where finding something original to write is almost impossible without taking something from a local journalist who has access to the team…and still can’t find something noteworthy.  So a poll would work just fine!

This topic is simple.  Who will not make the final roster for the Miami Dolphins.  You have the option of all and none.  If you have another name that you think should be added here…then simply put it in the comments and if we get enough of that name, we can do a run off.  By the way…Ernest Wilford and the rest of the WR’s are not on this list.  They will be done separate later.  You can select 2.

Why is Wilford not on this list? Or is that cut just a given?

Two reasons.  one, I think it’s a given.  and 2:  I want to do a specific WR poll on who gets cut.  Although it’s one short now with the cut of Lowber.

Maybe it’s just me, but I find it funny that many people last year were basing their arguments on who would or wouldn’t get cut on whether a particular player was or wasn’t a “Parcells guy” and were basically ignoring talent (or lack thereof) and/or competition at that player’s position.  It’s refreshing to see the latter emphasized this year.
My own ratings on likelihood (from most to least) of getting cut:
    1) Allen- job appeared to be in serious jeopardy even before the ‘Phins drafted CBs with picks 1 and 2B
    2) Starks- the wild card here is whether the charges against him are as overblown as he claims
    3) Soliai- faces less competition (currently) for his job than Starks, but this could change in a hurry should the Dolphins pick somebody up (such as by trade or waiver wire pick up)
    4) Martin- while it’s probably not a good idea for any player on this team to pretend that his spot is guarenteed, this is the first I’ve heard that Martin is in any immediate danger.
Speaking of polls, I would have thought the question “Was Parcells the right hire for the Dolphins?” had been settled several months ago….  =OP
