The Miami Dolphins are rolling out an all new website on August 15th. The team is also introducing a new feature called “I was there”. This fan experience is in your hands. Not theirs. The Dolphins will be asking for you, the fan, to submit photos of you at a game or a Dolphins event, dressed in your Dolphins gear. Then, they will choose the best photos to add to game programs under the section “I was there”.
In addition, the Phins will launch a “micro-site” called, you guessed it, “I was there”. Fans will be able to upload their photos, write their memories, or even post a video of their experiences. Photos that are not used by the Dolphins for the game programs will be posted on the micro-site.
The Dolphins are one of the few teams who strive to include their fans in what they do. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is very fan oriented and wants to increase and better the overall fan experience. This is one of those steps being taken to make that happen.
So remember if you “were there” then let the rest of the world know about it. You can also give us a call on Finsradio.net and tell us your stories as well.
Look for the new MiamiDolphins.com on August 15th.
