The Miami Dolphins moved closer to getting all of their picks signed before the teams official start of training camp tomorrow by signing first round selection CB Vontae’ Davis. Davis, according to his agent Todd France has inked a 5 year deal. He will reportedly receive a guarantee in the 7 mill range which is in line with what the 24th and 26th picks received.
With Davis signed, the Phins will now shift gears to get Pat White, drafted in round 2, and Chris Clemons drafted in round 5, under contract. The two sides are reportedly haggling over contract wording in the case of Clemons. And a report has stated that both the Dolphins and Pat White are closing in on an agreement as well.
