No, I do not think the wildcat is done just yet. But I thinl it will be ineffective until we have a deep passing game threat. I want to see Henne bloom in to the Dolphins next long term QB. But it is going to be tough until we get him some GOOD wr help. I don't really like to knock our personnel but i have seen enough to know that Ginn is nothing but an overpaid kick returner.

I don't think the phins receivers suck, they're just not in the right frame of mind, they seem weak willed. They need someone to light a fire under their ass. Parcells needs to put the fear of god in them, give them some motivation. As annoying as Chad Johnson can be, you can really respect the way that guy gets himself up for games and lays it all out on the field. They need some swagger, they've got the talent.

Its not just Ginn, all of the receivers and more promanantly Bess have been dropping balls all over the place. I watch other football games and see teams 3rd WR make catch's our #1 WR can't make. You know, like when the ball hits them right in the hands. It makes me sick. Henne gets the ball there, the WR's just suck.

Maybe we should have got Chambers back?? 2 TD's in his first game as a cheif!! I however don't feel the Wildcat has run its course. It still presents match up problems for the defense, I would like to see us run a script of WC plays in a hurry up form so the other team cannot substitute players. As for screwing up our offense the WC does not screw up the offense, we have way to many dropped passes!!! That has nothing to do with the WC.. Our D on the other hand has to quit giving up BIG scores after we are able to score points. It seems like everytime we score the D gives it right back!! Too many big plays.. Porter SHUT YOUR MOUTH or play football!! You have been doing this for years if your going to TALK THE TALK -- WALK THE WALK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mr Haynos keep up the good work you look better every week.. We need to get you more involved each week... GO PHINS!!!!!!!!!

I still remember when they said that having a stud WR is just a luxury and can work with what they have?....I think it's time to re-think that...we need some leadership on the recieving side, I dont know if I should blame Henne or the Wide outs but I'm not too impressed.

Yes, the WildCat has run its course. It was meant to put the Phins 2 best and most productive offensive players on the field. It created offensive line mismatches and defensive scheme adjustments that were not happening with a lack of downfield pass threat.
Now, defenses are simply ignoring all the backfield movement, staying in their lanes, still ignoring the pass game, and stopping it. Most important, the WC is truly disrupting the offensive flow, and stunting the short term success of Henne each game and his long term success. If the WC was a temporary solution to a problem they intend to fix, I think they should slowly faze it out. Let Henne be the pocket general, give him a stud go to WR, and better pass protection. And, either get a change of pace RB who can create, or the OL needs to open bigger holes for Ronnie to drive his low torque truck through.

The Dolphins need a stud WR. Ted Ginn kills me every week in the passing game. That guy drops any ball that has meaning to it. I knew the Dolphins were making a mistake taking Ginn 10th when they could have drafted Dwayne Bowe, Robert Meachem or Anthony Gonzalez.
