Did you take some solace in knowing that you could at least have the Pro-Bowl to watch one last Miami Dolphin play this season? Not anymore. The Miami Dolphins pro-bowl left tackle, Jake Long, will miss the game with a hip injury.
To add a little insult to that injury, Long will be replaced by NY Jets LT D’Brikashaw Ferguson. The irony is that it was Cleveland’s Joe Thomas in his 2nd season that was injured and replaced by Long. Now, in Long’s 2nd season, he too is being replaced.
With the announcement of Long’s injury and Pro-Bowl abcense, the Miami Dolphins will now be sending no one to the event being staged in their own back-yard. No other Dolphin was voted into the Pro-Bowl.
