  1. Lol says:

You are retarded. Colt McCoy isn’t a top 4 round pick and you have him going in the first. You don’t deserve a site.

  2. ArmyRn says:

Disagree with Kindle….would rather have Mclain or Spikes…..As to LOL, what a moronic thing to say to the group who have worked so hard to put up a quality site in which we can talk about our beloved fins…..Disagreeing is one thing, but bashing is another matter

  3. Brian Miller says:

LOL: Not that I actually think you will be back to read this, nor do I honestly care, I would like to point out that first, there are many who have McCoy going in round 1. Second, I don’t think McCoy is going in round 1, especially after the injury. I think he will go in round 3, mid-late.

This was a first mock of the season and the author made this prior to the Natl. Champ. game.

ARMYRN: I agree, I like Kindle, but honestly, I think they go either with a stud DT if there is one (Williams?) and I also like Rolando McLain as well…but not sure if he will be there. The Phins have some deep needs, especially at LB. They need outside and inside and a DT. Where do you go first? What if Dez Bryant falls?

  4. Brian Miller says:

Second of all, Zach was not the author of this mock draft.

  5. Dashall2 says:

The word on McCoy was that his injury was nerve related and he had lost strength in his arm. Trainers refused to clear him to go back in. Hopefully, it will clear up. Unfortunately, there are 11 teams picking in front of us. We have to take that into consideration as to who we want/get. You never know how the Raiders will pick. If someone flashes a low 40 time, all bets are off. If Kindle is the best player who can make an impact and start immediately, then I am ok with him as a pick. Just get us a day 1 starter that will make an impact in 2010 and for years to come.

  6. Hawks says:

I agree that Colt McCoy is not a first-round talent at this point. He wasn’t before his nerve-injury before the title game, and he certainly isn’t now. I see him in the second or third round. I have some hope for him, but first round is too early for this prospect.

But I’d like to point out that one doesn’t get a website by “deserving” it, and if you happen to think so, then you’re “retarded.” Websites are bought and/or created.

  7. onole1 says:

Lighten up Francis…I am the one who did this mock. It was done before McCoy got hurt, but there were some issues getting it posted. I have seen many people who have him listed as a lat first and he would fit very well in Minnesota’s offense. With that being said this mock will change a lot, we still have to wait for all the underclassmen to declare.

  8. florida ted says:

Fins need a game breaker on the outside Ginn a bust receiver also spage should braft a player who can coach him on the use of time outs he is a knucklehead. second round oline the rest of the draft dline and plenty of them rotation is the key Miami too small on dline and every year fade at the end except last year popcorn schedule that is gone forever..

  9. seahbawklovertoo says:

If you are not ready, then why are you posting anything? Lol is right. You are morons.

  10. Shavon says:

Good mock and being a mock geek myself, don’t listen to what that guy has to say.

I’m a Lions fan and I just don’t see any possible scenario Suh drops past 2. The Lions will be lucky if the Rams pass him up. Unless Suh pulls a Andre Smith from a year ago, I just can’t see any way he falls to three.

    Good job on the mock.

  11. diz says:

the niners spiller pick is nice but they don’t fix one of their major need oline help to acctually run the ball

  12. Fins002 says:

“LOL” I don’t care how bad you think anyone else’s work is, you should learn some respect in critiquing.

On to the picks, I don’t think Bradford will go that high as he has his own injury issues.

Not sure I see the Niners taking Spiller either. They seem to like both Gore and Coffee but they did draft the “best player available” with Crabtree last year so it’s possible.

  13. Brian Miller says:

I seriously laugh that there are people who get mad at a “mock draft” and one that is actually done while the NFL season is still in full swing. It’s funny. I remember last year being killed for not putting Mario Manningham in my top 25 and then again for dropping him out of round one all together. Or Rey Mauluga for that matter.

In another 2 weeks this draft will change as they always do and more info comes out as to what teams may need to do.

  14. hawk9810 says:

Right on Brian!! This is just for fun and for people to give their input. However, some people need to relax. I’ve heard a lot about MT. Cody to the Phins?? No doubt we need help in more than one position. I hope whom ever the PHINS draft ends up being the stud of the draft!! GO PHINS!!

  15. robert says:

the dolphins need to go dfense unless a stud like bryant is there i do not know the kid listed there but i think the dolphins need to get a linbacker like the one from alabama he is the leader of the defense and he is really smart and athletic. nose tackle do you think vince wilfork will be there brian maller i look forward to your response go phins. they will go dfense in the first round becuase defense wins championships look at baltimore yesterday they threw the ball 10 times and ran it 52 we have a good running game we need to help out our defense! i cant wait for the offseason!

  16. fingerssfv says:

Taylor Mays goes 28th? This guy is an immediate impact player in the secondary of any team. Whoever does draft him, though, will have a diamond in the not-so-rough.

  17. hawk9810 says:

If by miracle we could land Wilfork before the draft we could trade down earn an extra late pick and still get a decent linebacker later in the first or early in the second round.. Just a thought..

  18. Saint says:

I can’t see the Jets taking a WR in the 1st Round although I see where you’re going with the USC connection. I think the Jets go defense in the first round to make that #1 unit unstoppable. I think they’ll either go NT (Williams or Cody), CB(Ghee or Dowling), or S (Taylor Mays if he slips). They need D line help to complement Kris Jenkins who isn’t getting any younger, Safety if they end up trading Kerry Rhodes, or another shutdown corner to complement Revis.

  19. Dan says:

I don’t see the Browns taking a WR in the first. They need secondary help, a QB, help on the right side of the line and another RB to pair up with Jerome Harrison. Also, they’re pretty young at the position, having spent two second-rounders on WRs last year. Enjoyed the mock though, and thank you for posting it.

I also agree with the others regarding the name calling done by Lol and Seahawk lover. If you don’t like the selections, try explaining why instead of whining.

  20. mock drafts are just for fun at this point, or any point for that matter. thus the word “mock”. ???? you can put anything you want to down, and do a mock yourself if you disagree with one thats here. good work to all that put time into this.

  21. i agree with dan and brian. they will change a 100 times before the actual one hits. so have fun with it, don’t insult people for their work, and if you have a better idea, say so, but for pete’s sake explain why you should be considered viable with YOUR idea, LOL or seahawkhater.

  22. 2madison9 says:

It seems to me that Mt. Cody would be a no-brainer for us in the 1st round.

  23. pete122888 says:

The Dolphins number one need is a linebacker plain and simple. I would also love for them to draft a receiver in the 2nd round we need a #1 and until we get that Chad Henne will never be able to reach his potential. Anyone agree/disagree?

  24. MYSPACE.COM/G3RMSH3P says:

I KNOW ALL YALL ARE GONNA THINK I AM CRAZY BUT IF THE JAGS PASS ON T.T3BOW(F)QB,THEN WE SHOULD PICK HIM UP.IF WE LET CHAD PENNINGTON WALK IN FREE AGENCY & RELEASE OR TRADE TYL3R THIGP3N,WE WILL NEED A QB AND ALSO WILL BOOST OUR TICKET SALES AND WILL MAKE SURE THAT IF WE RUN THE WILDCAT AND PAT WHITE GET INJURED(LIKE HE DID IN THE STEELER GAME,WE GOT A QB THAT CAN RUN IT & THROW IT AND TAKE OVER THE WILDCAT DUTIES FROM R.BROWN. P.S. C.McCOY(T3XA$)QB WILL BE A GREAT NFL QB & IS A LEGIT 1ST ROUND PICK 4 ANY TEAM.
