The Miami Dolphins will not be absent from this years pro-bowl…on the field anyways. The Phins will be sending strong safety Yeremiah Bell to the show next weekend. A replacement added due to the starter, Antoine Bethea of the Colts, being in the Super Bowl. So, that means that Bell will stay home next weekend instead of heading to wherever his out of state home is.
For the Dolphins, this is the 2nd player that they sent this year to the game. The first, LT Jake Long pulled out with an injury. For Bell, it’s his first trip since being drafted way back when by Dave Wannstedt. If memory serves correctly, Bell will be the first player actually drafted by Wannstedt that will make the Pro-Bowl game. Of course when it comes to my DW trivia…my attention span becomes, well, fixated on his “deer in the headlight” look.
