Nate Kaeding was the vote winner for the AFC place-kicking duties in this weekend’s Pro-Bowl but, he has withdrawn.
So, that puts Dan Carpenter into his first Pro-Bowl.
In less than a week the Miami Dolphins, who’s only voted in starter LT Jake Long will miss the game with an injury, is now represented by 2 of their players.
With the Pro-Bowl being a name recognition game moreso at times than a “deserving” honor, both Yeremiah Bell and Dan Carpenter can do a lot for themselves in getting back to the game. Neither player are household names, but a good showing this weekend may at least get them a little more street cred.
