Miami Dolphins CB Will Allen was arrested on Saturday following a roadblock established for a DUI checkpoint. Allen’s blood-alc level was twice the legal limit of .08.
Allen was stopped at the sobriety checkpoint and was asked several times by officers to get out of the car before finally opening his door. He repeatedly told officers that he “needed to get through”.
Allen recently stated that he would be the Dolphins starting CB again this season and would beat out Vontae’ Davis for the job. Now, it’s likely that Allen will open the season on some kind of suspension.
Two weeks ago, Dolphins DE Tony McDaniel was arrested on domestic violence charges. It seems that some of the Dolphins players haven’t found something constructive to do with their off-season.
