Madden Ranks The Fins

There is a one thing that can rival the NFL Draft, the start of the regular season, playoffs, and even the Super Bowl.  It’s the release of EA Sports Madden NFL.  With the 2011 issue a month or so away, the rankings will usually draw up a ton of interest.

So is the case with the early release of the team rankings.  For Dolphins fans of the game, the obvious question is whether or not the changes the team made this year on the real roster have equated to a better ranking on the digital roster.  The answer is yes.  And no.

This year, Maddenites will find the Miami Dolphins sitting with a team rank of 79.  That’s two points better than the 2010 season.  I suppose one question would be does this include Brandon Marshall?  One would think so.

While the Phins managed a two point jump, The N.Y. Jets are sitting with the 4th ranked team overall.  Before you get all pissed off however, consider that is a one point increase over last year.  88 to 89.  The Patriots are the 8th overall best ranked team with an 86.  A two point drop from last year.   Does anyone really care about Buffalo?

The individual player rankings are not out yet but we will have them for you when they are.  In the meantime, enjoy the rankings of all 32 teams courtesy of our sister site, EbonyBird.com who discovered the list.

How can the St. Louis Rams rank of 32 be a +1 over last year?

    • habib

I guess they were right about the jets last year, ranking them the same as the patriots. I think the Dolphins will do a lot better than last year. They already proved they can beat the patriots and the Jets. They should have beet the colts and the saints.

Their record was a bit misleading.

I think the rating would be more accurate if the Jets and Dolphins switched positions. Buffalo and Patriots are probably about right.

Never mind I see now it is Rating not Ranking

Or maybe St. Louis was so bad last year they were actually ranked 33rd.

Can someone translate the first sentence for me? “There is a one thing in the that can rival the NFL Draft”- what the hell is that?

Translation: I’m an idiot who couldn’t process three thoughts at once but managed to spew out 3 words for three different directions.
