Tomorrow we will have our final writers submission and then the task of sifting through the votes, the comments, and our current staff begins as we head towards a decision later this week. For now, there is some real Miami Dolphins news to report.
Ronnie Brown is a restricted free agent and had until today to sign his tender offer. He didn’t. What does that mean now? Nothing. Teams could lower their tender offers to 110 percent of the players salary from 2009, Brown was already tendered at that level and therefore still has time to get his name put on paper.
As Brown stated to some of the Miami media, “It’s knick-knack stuff” that’s holding it up. Basically he is referring to some of the wording in the offer. He says that while he wants a multi-year deal, he is not going to hold out.
In other news, the Dolphins signed one of their 8 2010 draft picks. Chris McCoy the teams 7th round DE/OLB signed a 4 year deal.
