And…Pat White Returns

The saga of Pat White is far from over.  Yesterday it was reported that the back-up QB would miss the rest of the TC with a “serious” personal issue.  Now, he has shown up at practice, been taken off the physically unable to perform list, and is back with his team.

It’s being reported around local mainstream media that the White saga if far from over and the fact that he is practicing with the team does not mean that he will stick it out, stay, or anything else.

Some believe that the Dolphins are trying to trade the QB, some think that perhaps his absence stems from being asked to play the role of a WR, others think he wants to return to baseball.  It’s all speculation.

Whatever is going on with Pat White has not yet become a distraction for the team.  That’s not to say that it will.  The Dolphins are still bringing in Tommy Grady formerly of Utah for a look.  That indicates either the team is allowing him to audition as planned, or that perhaps the team still isn’t sold on White sticking around.

Somehow I don’t think we have heard the end of this.

In other early TC news, CB Evan Oglesby has been put on the active/non-football injury list, after missing his 2nd straight practice.

The Dolphins brought back Jared Bronson who walked out of camp last year…no word on whether they have to pay him anything more than the money he took with him when he left.  Maybe the figure if they can’t get him to legally pay the money back, they will use him as a blocking dummy and beat it out of him.  I give him a week.
