Oh yes, it is that good. Theiphone is fast becoming an iconic symbol to modern life. While some loathe the Apple product, some can’t live without it. I am one of the latter who not only sports my iPhone 3GS, but also myiPad, something I shamelessly am finding I can’t live without. So I was very pleased when I learned that the Miami Dolphins announced their own iPhone application.
Now we here at Phinphanatic and the Fan Sided Networkhave embraced this medium by supplying our readers with a free application for their iPhones, iPad’s, and Droids. You can do an “app” search for Miami Dolphins to find it or search it by name.
Today, the Dolphins unveiled their own iPhone application, and it is that good!
Not only do you get the team news from the team itself, you get all their little perks of being the Miami Dolphins. News from the source. A descriptive schedule. You can even follow the “Twitter” accounts of Omar Kelly and several other Dolphins media guys including Miami’s own, Andy Kent and Barry Buchtel.
If that wasn’t enough, you can interact and “Tweet” back by becoming a follower of the Dolphins on Twitter.
The best part of the “App” isn’t even on the front menu. It’s on the “more” section. The roster. Pull up the roster and you get a mug shot of the player that you can flip through by swiping your finger. Tap the photo and it spins around to reveal information about the player. This alone makes the Application well worth the cost…which again…is NOTHING!
All in all, I have this FREE application on both my iphone and my ipad. While it’s not generated for the iPad yet, it’s still usable and quite clear.
Your a Dolphins fan. So get the App. It’s free, it’s worth it, and it’s from the team. In the words of Jim Mandich…”Allllright Miami!”
