My Glass Is Half Full

With this season hanging in the balance and the nay sayers predicting “impending doom”,  like it’s a Mayan calendar or something! I thought I would take a “glass is half full” approach to the rest of the season.

Firstly, we will finish with a winning record! Secondly, we will have a top 10 defense, and lastly, Chad Henne does have something to offer, and will be our QB of the future … well next year at least. Oh, and by the way, we will make the playoff’s!

    This is a hard week to pay attention to. There is nothing to look forward to and this is coming from an optimist. The Jets are kickin ass, Patriots are kickin ass, and where the f**k are we? Fighting for table scraps at the bottom of the division. Chad Henne can’t get it done man he just can’t. I was confident before the season but now I would just rather not just watch us for the rest of the season. I just can’t do it man. Even when we win it feels like we lost.

    BTW this might sound weird to some people but this is almost as painful as the 07 season. Because I expected a good season. We’re so much better than this.

    Loved that Ronnie, but I don’t share your optimism…LOL

  • ronnie

    Optimism = “hopefulness and confidence about the future or successful outcome of something;

    But not very often right! LOL !!

    Well, MJ, I hope YOU don’t have a couple of bad years and your WIFE gives up on you like you are giving up on the PHINS……

    This is a shame and disgraceful how many fair-weather fans are in Miami…this is a team that is a year away. Give me a team that has won a superbowl in two years after a regime change an owner change? As a dolphin fan living in Texas this exactly what we don’t need, giving up on a team that is getting better every game. Aside from injuries, this has been the most competitive the dolphins have been since the 90′s nobody comes to play the fins without putting there best foot forward or they will lose!
    Yes we need speed yes, we need to settle the OL, but defensively they are on the verge of greatness. remember this is the first year under nolan and last I remember sporano brought in Nolan and we don’t want to lose him. Quit hating and become TB fan (who are just a mirror image of 2008 fins team) taking advantage of a weak schedule. Henne is the man get him a deep threat in the draft to go alongside our other receivers and a speed RB in the mold of Bryan west brook. Keep Ronnie and don’t look back!! Man up fin fans!!
