Dolphans Want Moore

On the darker side, the Dolphins won despite the best efforts of the coaching staff. How many ways can they find to break Henne’s game rhythm? The Wildcat, the backup quarterback injection for what was obviously a sneak, running between the tackles on third and long. Next week Dan Henning plans to call  the plays in Spanish. And is anyone else unimpressed with Ronnie Brown dancing in the backfield? His longest run was for eight yards. What’s impressive is his ability to reach the line of scrimmage. Ricky Williams seems to be hitting the holes quickly and hard. He also is showing bursts of speed. I’d like to see him in for longer stretches of the game.

I liked the heart of the team yesterday. It’s nice to not be brutally disappointed on a Sunday night. I think the execution was there but I still worry about our coaching staff. I wonder if Brandon Marshall’s absence had anything to do with the concept of a team.

I agree with you on this post.. I definitely wouldnt mind seeing Moore in the game more often! He seems to be a real talent we need to develop. Ive hated Henning and the coaching staff all season for what seems like try to sabatoge Henne.

I agree with everything except your analysis of Ronnie Brown’s running. Go back and look at each of the runs of both Ronnie and Ricky. You’ll find that everyone of Ronnie’s runs was between the tackles, and area that was particularly difficult during the game (until very late)to get any headway. Ronnie is most effective when he does hesitate and has an very good ability to make something out of nothing. There were two/three runs late in the 4th by Ronnie that made 5/6 yards and easy first downs that kept the ball in Miami’s hands and the clock ticking. Ricky is much quicker to the hole, and had several runs for good gains to the outside, but they were called plays. Ricky is no better than Ronnie, nor is Ronnie better than Ricky. Their styles complement each other and as the TV commentators noticed, they both looked fresh in the 4th quarter and the commitment to not give up on the run paid huge dividends at the end of the game when the Oakland defense was completely worn out.

I think Ronnie Brown should be in “Dancing with the Stars”.

you guys are wholly misinformed about Ronnie Brown; he had a heckuva game

ran hard, found holes and basically punished the defense

this guy is just getting started
